Think all honeys are the same?...Well not for long! There are over 2000 distinct honeys produced worldwide and over 300 right here in the U.S.A. each with its own aroma, texture, flavor and unique characteristics that, like fine wines, can change from season to season.
This isn't the honey you might find on the shelves at your local super grocery, which has been collected from China, India and South America blended together, boiled, reduced and stored by the ton. Only to be shipped across oceans, reconstituted with tap water and poured into plastic bears by the millions.
This is raw honey, spun and gravity filtered, which means it still holds all of its pollen, enzymes, nutrients and most importantly its unique flavor characteristics. Sourced both from small local apiaries and world renown beekeepers the Southern Hive Honey Company is happy to bring you some of the best honeys available.
